Curtis Training Center L.L.C. is a full service Arabian Equine Facility. The keyword being service, we work for our customer, while maintaining a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our philosophy helps to keep things in perspective. We do believe and understand that not all our customers have the same needs, wants, and goals.
We provide training, showing, breeding, lessons, sales, purchasing new prospects, foaling, and Stallion management.
Our training program has become very successful with National Winners in Halter, Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Show Hack, Side Saddle, Native Costume, Showmanship, and equitation. We provide a competitive and supportive Youth and Adult Amateur program: From Beginners to National Champions. As head Trainer and partner of Curtis Training Center L.L.C., I am able to customize a training and business program that fits your ideals and goals.
I became a horse trainer for the same reasons you became owners: For the love of the Arabian horse. It is true what they say, "They do get into your blood". I hear trainers say, that we as trainers should not own horses ourselves. I do not agree! Being an owner helps to keep the perspective of an owner. I love being an owner. I enjoy watching my "children progress just like most parents." I try to keep my horses mentally happy and physically healthy while bringing them up to their full potential. I give the show horses turn out time (preferably with another horse) and they go out on short trail rides. Lonnie Ellis, the business manager is the other partner of Curtis Training Center L. L. C. He handles the billing, contracts, and most of the on line correspondence, sales, and advertisement. He prides himself on being accurate and fair, while maximizing our customer's satisfaction. The Stallions we stand and are associated with are of exceptional quality. They have more than proven themselves in the show ring as well as the breeding Barn. We want to produce pretty, correct and talented athletes. As a breeder, you will be more than satisfied with our breeding protocol as well as your resulting foals.
Our sales network is constantly evolving becoming more effective everyday. Our horses are price fairly and represented in an honest and respectful fashion and resulting in repeat buyers. We try to keep a good group of sale horses and sell them quickly, allowing everyone to remain in the Arabian Industry. Come find your National Champion at C.T.C. If we do not have what you are looking for, I will help you find it.
We do offer a limited lesson program. Our lessons do revolve around the show and breeding schedule.
